What’s It All About?

Mastering is an art-form. No one is born good at mastering. It takes years of training and a good ear – this is why people that do it professionally are referred to as mastering engineers.

They’re highly skilled and extremely well paid.

I’ve worked in some of the top studios in LA with artists ranging from Katy Perry to KYLESA and Baroness.

This course is the distillation of 20+ years of experience into one, easy to follow document.

Think of it as a shortcut, a way to skip over all the hurdles, pitfalls, and mistakes I made when I was starting out.

I write, produce, and master songs professionally. Alongside ELECTRIKJAM, this is how I make a living.

I learned from some of the best mastering engineers in the music industry, cut my teeth working on major record albums during the late-2000s, and finally went out on my own in 2020.

This guide covers everything that I learnt during this period. It is how I master tracks professional today.

It is literally all you need to take your songs and albums from “demo-quality” to sounding like a major record label release.
